New In My Wardrobe #1

In the spirit of welcoming in the new season, I have started to get some new additions to my wardrobe. Surprisingly,I am tired of the heat and I can't wait to get back to layering up. The first place I did a search for clothes is my local charity shop, which is ingeniously called 'charity shop'. I usually go there first because I always seem to find so much and at a very very affordable price. It always ends up saving me plenty of money because everything in the store is under £5.

Really loving this dark shade of green this season. Its so striking and although a shade darker than the coats I've seen on the military trend coats, its in keeping with the simple tailored look.
I got this blazer in the charity shop for £2.50 and its Marks & Spencer. I love the different proportions on the coat with the massive shoulders and sinched in waist when buttoned up. Its quite thick so will be doubling as a coat and I can't wait to wear it all the time this autumn.

Leather is making quite a statement this season and i'm loving it. It was trendy last year and although I was initially not a huge fan, Fikki and I got a-line skirts from H&M. It can be done tastefully to create a gorgeous tailored silhouette and im wholeheartedly embracing it. For this trend, a skirt is as far as I can go and I snapped up this real leather skirt in the charity shop for £3! For me, I think it is best teamed with a soft white shirt or loose knit on the top.

For this, I was looking backwards to that one pair of shoes I had missed out on last year. I really wanted the Topshop Allegra but I never got round to actually buying it. So a few weeks ago, my lovely aunty got me these from So You Shoes. These are so comfy, even wore them around FNO and no pain. I've seen quite a few variations and similar styles like these nasty gal boots on blogger Carmen with amazing detailing and the Topshop Alexy.
