The Everyday Look

Skirt/Motel; Top/Thrifted; 'Lana' Bag/Paul's Boutique*

After a lovely two weeks off, I'm back finishing off Law School, work and being busy busy busy. Once again, I am completely snowed under with work after doing absolutely nothing and taking time off work. I don't know why I do this to myself! For a day of lectures and running around, I kept it quite simple with this midi skirt from Motel. I absolutely love the effect and the illusion of curves that is created with the lines although it is quite hard to walk quickly in it.

Just like Fikki, I got a bag from Paul's Boutique to test out their new branding and image. Honestly, I was not a fan growing up, it was not me. But, recently they decided to introduce a classic luxe and fashion forward style into their image without loosing their original branding. It's a brilliant strategy, it allows the brand to grow up with their fans and create pretty statement bags that showcases fashion awareness. I decided that I wanted to choose something that was not a shopper/bucket bag but one that I can use for law school and work everyday. The bag I ended up choosing is this bowling bag style bag which fits all my notes and iPad perfectly. Although I wish the straps were longer, it's perfect for my needs, has a slight playful edge, I'm pretty much attached to it now and make a nice alternative to my zara shopper. Its also now its on sale now for £39.
