Fashion | Autumn Is Upon Us

It's that time of year again. The leaves are turning brown, curling up and beginning to fall. Sadly, this time around I will be spending most of my favourite season in scrubs. I am currently rotating through the Emergency Department as a junior doctor and I already officially half way through the 4 month block. Whilst the hours have been long and the shifts intense, so far, it has been an amazing experience. For the first time since qualifying I feel like an real doctor and I have to say I am loving it.

On one of my faux-weekends (the junior doctor rota means I only get one real weekend a month), I took pleasure in leaving the blue scrubs at home and wearing this outfit on a quick trip to the shops. I am currently obsessed with neutral tones (white, creams, blacks, greys) so this outfit fit perfectly with my mood. I added a touch of colour with mine and Lola's favourite colour of lipstick: purple.

As much as I love to complain about wearing scrubs everyday, one thing that has been good about them is extra time I get to spend in bed every morning!
